How to get Storm Doors Installation?

There are a few different ways to get your storm doors installation done in Oshawa. The most popular way is through a professional contractor, but there are also a few self-installation options available as well. Here are the steps you need to take:

1. Determine what type of storm door you need. There are two main types of storm doors: front-hinged and sliding. Front-hinged doors open outward, while sliding doors open inward.

2. Figure out the dimensions of your door frame. Your storm door will fit inside of the frame if the dimensions match up.

3. Cut the hole in your door frame. Make sure that the edges of your door frame are even with the edge of your hole saw blade so that the seal is maintained between the door and frame throughout construction. 4. Fit the hinges onto the door frame and screw them into place using screws about every 8 inches along each hinge strip. Be sure to leave enough room on either side of the hinge for trimming later on (unless you plan on having a full-length window behind your storm door).

5. Fit the panel onto the hinges and center it on top of the hole cut in step 3, making sure that all edges line up flush with both sides of the hinge strips and that there is no excess material hanging off  the edges.

6. Fit the storm door onto the panel and screw it into place using screws about every 8 inches along each edge of the door. Be sure to leave enough room on either side of the hinge for trimming later on.
